Failed to authenticate on SMTP server with Laravel

When you send email or any feedback mail to Laravel project you will find the error.

You will get this error:

Failed to authenticate on SMTP server with username ...

That means your username email and password doesn't work because recently(30 May 2022) google 'Less secure apps & your Google Account' settings terminated.

First sign in your gmail account, this gmail which is used your laravel .env files.





Then Secondly you should go your gmail settings.

You can't find this settings already i told.

Solutions:

Going to gmail settings then going to Security then click 2-Step Verification.

Get Started

Then google security check give your password for re-login and put your original phone number to verify.

When your 2-step verification complete then you should back options for like this image:

Set App Passwords.

Select app for mail and devices for what you want. then generate

You will get a password. Copy this password and paste this password your .env file. then it will work!
